My name is Rebecca, and I love to make things. Particularly, videos that tell stories, make you feel something, and use motion graphics/ animation to do so.

The ultimate goal: using motion design to amplify projects geared towards making the world a more sustainable, equitable, and compassionate place to live for all.

Some more about me:

  • Originally from Louisville, Kentucky (it's pronounced loo-a-vul)

  • Moved to the DC area in October 2016, currently in Alexandria, VA

  • Currently freelancing as a Motion Designer and Video Editor 

  • Before that, spent 7 years (first as an individual contributor, then leading a team) creating Marketing video content for a tech company

  • Proud of my grandma hobbies:

    • Quilting​

    • Drinking tea

    • Embroidery

    • Gardening

    • Browsing estate sales
